We have used Superior Steel Homes NQ for several years now and have found them to be a great supplier of sub-floor, manufactured steel wall/truss frames and structural steel. Joan and I would just like to put a few words in writing to thank you all for constructing our new home at Garradunga. Our previous home in Tully stood up to Yasi very well, so decided to build again using steel frame construction. So, to cut a long story short, we went with your system because of the 90mm steel frames, welded floor bearers to the stumps, plus bolted roof trusses. And to cut another long story very short, we went colour bond cladding on the exterior and roof and finished up with a very strong home indeed.

The quality louver windows, best kitchen we ever had, not to mention the bath, en suite, robes etc., we finished up with a home that will see out our time on this planet and many other owners. We watched it being built from day one, as we lived on-site until the hand over, and I could not fault any of the tradesmen on the project, who did not complain about me watching over them the whole time.

At the end of the day it came in on our contract price and on time before Christmas, our block was not builder friendly as it was not level and very difficult to access with large vehicles. So yes we are very happy with our home, your professional service, your quality workmanship, and your housewarming gifts, which was a delightful surprise. Thank you again Superior. You are Superior with what you do.

When we relocated to Far North Queensland my wife and I wanted to build a mortgage-free home ready for retirement. After a fair bit of research, we decided that we needed a termite resistant steel frame home, and as we were owner builders, we only required a lock-up kit. The criteria was to use a local company with a good reputation, and Superior Steel Homes stood out from the rest. We submitted concept drawings and Silvano and their professional and friendly SSHNQ team of architects and engineers sprang into action, advising and tweaking the plans accordingly. Due to the slope of the land we were building on, we were advised to go with a steel subfloor on stumps.
